We were treated extremely well at a time when they were very busy in high season. Perhaps it is all slightly overpriced, but we thought it was worth it for the lovely location and friendly welcoming service. Great pool. The hotel bus to Alghero is infrequent, but you can use the hourly bus service from Fertilia (5-10 minutes walk). Buy tickets at hotel reception or the bar by the bus stop. (the timetable is not particularly accurate!) Taxi to and from airport was too costly; use the bus if possible. Hiring a car at the hotel was convenient, but again overpriced. Generally we ate in Fertilia (quite reasonable if you want a lazy evening meal without having to traipse into town, and both the choice and quality is better than appears at first sight)or (better still) Alghero (we enjoyed the 'Nettuno' even though it is a bit tourist orientated). The hotel pig roast (alfresco, round the pool)on a Thursday provided the opportunity to sit and socialise with other guests which, in our case, was enormous fun. We did not suffer noise nuisance from rowdy guests but a precautionary pair of earplugs should prevent some of the difficulties noted by others. Bearing in mind that they have to make their profit during a short season, this was a great place to stay and we look back on our visit with much happiness.

Top Tip
The much vaunted beach at La Pelosa is indeed stunning, but in mid August it was unbelievably crowded which simply ruined any enjoyment. Much better to seek out a little cove of your own along the coast.
