DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THE COMPANY THEY RECOMMEND AT THE RIVIERA HOTEL - THEY ARE COMPLETE RUBBISH, RUDE, ALMOST TWICE AS EXPENSIVE AS THE REST AND ARE THE MOST ARROGANT PEOPLE I HAVE MET IN YEARS

Spotlessly clean, friendly, quiet located one street back from beach front. Quiet private pool.

Top Tip

Stayed on Bed & Breakfast terms. Daps restaurant across the street excellent especially for fish dishes as was Mirador on the walls in old town watching sunset.

The Hotel had a perfect location near to a beautiful (and perfect for kids) beach and the old town. Situated in a quiet location – staff were very helpful and welcoming to us and our 2-year-old daughter. Rooms were slightly basic – not having a fridge in the room the only real negative. Good air con and the rooms were cleaned immaculately every day. The pool and kid's paddling pool were also superb – we all really enjoyed our stay. Also only a ten minute taxi ride to and from airport so no lengthy transfers which is great when traveling with kids. Great location for the beach and a short and pleasant walk in to the beautiful and atmospheric old town with lovely bars and restaurants.

Nice small hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were very small althuogh spotless and there was no balcony which i missed.

Hire a car and travel up to stintino, beaches are worth the effort!!

Just 50 metres to the beach and 20 mins walk to the old town made this a very good location for us. The hotel is a Thomson "Small and friendly" which sums it up nicely.

wonderful hotel and location for a break in Alghero. Would definetely recommend to friends and family and will be going back again soon!

Nice clean hotel, although there seems to be a lot of dogs in Alghero, and the residential properties surrounding the hotel seemed to have 90% of the dog population!! it was a bit noisy at times to say the least, excellent location for the beach, but around 1.5 miles from the old town. I nearly forgot to mention that the pool is freezing cold, the med is warmer!!!!

great location for beach and short stroll into the town. nice pool food in hotel very nice.rooms large and nice balconey, no fridge! very friendly staff. good choice for a lovely stay in alghero.

most of the restaurants are in the old town of alghero, however there are a few down by the beach area, DAPPS is a very nice one, and there is a nice restaurant past the san marco hotel past the pizzareia then turn right down a road way and ther it is very very good! there is a boat trip which you can catch at the marinia for 10 euros and it takes you out to see the dolphins for one and a half hours , well worth it goes morning and evening. walk along the beach to the next little town of fitilla ! fantastic walk, you will see beautifull bays and crystle clear waters . takes an hour there and an hour back, but there are bars along the beach so you can stop for drinks!!
