This hotel is OK for the money. The location is good, it is clean and rooms made up daily, the staff are friendly, there is a pizzeria downstairs and it's quite reasonbly priced.
On the down side... the breakfast is very average. The walls are thin and the plumbing noisey. I would say though that this is reflected in the price and we found overall the hotel was adequate and for our weeks holiday.
Top Tip
We would recommend anyone visiting Alghero for more than a couple of days to rent a car. The coast to the North and South and inland from Alghero is stunning and not easily accessible by public transport.

The hotel was easily accesible from the airport bus, alight at via Garibaldi it is anout 2 minutes walk from bus stop.
Room was very clean, we had a disabled room, which was not a problem with a walk in shower. The two single beds were located in odd places and the TV on the wall could not be seen from either of them.
The breakfast was adequate early on in the break, but when the hotel became fuller later in the week there was a shortage of nice rolls and the automatic drinks machine packed up.
Top Tip
Not much to see in Alghero and difficult to get out of the town by local transport, infrequent service. Went on the single track railway to Sassari, punctual but again not much to see there either.
If you want a clean, cheap and a different menu each evening there is a self service restaurant just round the corner opposite the prison looking building. Marigia, Via Vitt Vento. Owner charges 3 Euros for a bottle of drinkable wine. Pasta at 2 euro was excellent and a generous serving.
Il Ghiotto was good for lunch in the old town Piazza Civica.
If you want a 5* buffet then the Carlos V hotel outside the old town up the hill on the promenade is good value, except a bottle of house wine spoils it at 24 euro.
If you like good large and cheap pizza's then try Lu Furat in Via Columbano in the old town.

Very good value hotel, in a side street but only 500 metres from the harbour and five minutes from old town.
Breakfast very basic but room very good standard.
An excellent choice for money

Good-sized room, pleasant design throughout. Breakfast plentiful but of disappointing quality. Front rooms can be noisy at night as merrymakers congregate on the hotel terrace below. Desk staff not well-trained.

Grotto Nettune - go by boat, NOT bus but don't miss it. Bus trip to Bosa well worth doing. To swim, go up to the pine beach, to beach cafe Conchiglia. A dream.
