Great hotel and location. Facilities excellent. Do not expect receptionist to offer bar service on a summer evening at 6 oclock in 35 degrees as we were refused (they decide when the bar is open and closed - despite the hotel claiming open from 11.00am to 11.00pm)

Top Tip
Alghero is a fab place to wander, eat, drink and relax.

A good 20 minute walk from town centre. Good sized rooms, good beds. Room and shower not very clean. The odd dirty plate. They have a large swimming pool but saw no-one using it, perhaps because bar not even open for a cup of coffee - arrogant receptionist informed us they had too much work to do! In fact all staff seemed rushed and unhappy.

Top Tip
Lots of restaurants - try traditional Sardinian food at the Maristella in Via Flli.Kennedy. Walk round the old seafront walls at night. Join the locals sitting in the shade in the harbour in the morning and watch the world go by.

Though the main body of the hotel is fine, the two additional accomodation buildings are in need of a some TLC. With the hotel being on the outskirts of town in a residential area, the views from the rooms are non to great. When you step out onto your balcony, you find you are only a few yards from the locals apartments and are afforded views into their homes - dirty washing, rubbish bins, and barking dogs included. Not great.

Top Tip
If you do choose to stay here, then make the ten minute drive into the old town for your evening meals. Some great restaurants with lovely views are to be found.
